Eventful, but not the good kind of eventful, and definitely not what I expected for our stay unfortunately!
Positive:
The location wasn’t too bad but didn’t have enough time there to check out the surrounding area.
Negative:
Had an awful experience from the minute we arrived. As we pulled up and walking up to the door (keep in mind it’s me and 2 little kids) we hear a loud bang right behind us and a loud explosion. My kids run scared to me scared to death and as i turn around smoke is everywhere. I grab my kids as this is happening and duck as they attendant gave me the wrong code at first so I couldn’t get into our room/cottage and my kids got their ears covered and shaking at this point, and I have no clue as to what is happening. Next thing you know there are people, cops, fire trucks everywhere and apparently someone dropped dynamite right there, maybe 40 ft from where we were standing. I put my kids in the car and had to leave that area for a while just to get them to calm down enough to get them to go to sleep for a little while. Unfortunately after that incident sleep was out of the question for myself. My son spent the whole time we were there with his hands over his ears that I felt so bad for him we finally had to leave, I’ve never seen him so scared. Even, I was scared to stay there. I understand it was not the owner, although some type of courtesy call to check on their customers staying there would have made me feel a little better and also just common courtesy.
As far as the property, it was clean but needed some work. It definitely didn’t portray what the pictures on the site showed.

Plenty of space
Plenty of space. Close to the beach and it’s on the street parallel to the main beach road so you don’t always get stuck in that traffic.
No complaints. My suggestion would be to have more pots. Other than that everything was perfect. ( I love to cook, that may not even suit everyone so overall. 5 stars)
