Coastal Charm 1BR Retreat near Pompano Beach

We had a mixed experience. The location and layout are great, but several issues impacted our stay. The biggest was the WiFi—it did not work properly the entire time, even after trying the backup network. This is a basic amenity and something we wouldn’t have booked without, especially since it was mentioned in a prior review. There were also maintenance and quality concerns. A table was initially broken, though the host came out and fixed it the next day, which we appreciated. The toaster didn’t work, kitchen supplies were minimal, bedding was uncomfortable (duvet between sheets), and only three pillows were provided. Small details like a rusted bathroom trash can and stains on the bed backboard added to the lack of upkeep. The host was responsive and said they would make it right, but mentioned it may take 1–2 weeks to hear back from the owner, which goes beyond the review window. Overall, still a great stay if WiFi and immaculate upkeep aren’t deal breakers for you.

This place was great! Amazing location so close to the beach, which was beautiful. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Stayed on business trip; 4 stars. Late arrival (11:15 PM Feb 23) in cold Pompano Beach (~55F, windy). Wrong door code; host fixed in 10 mins with backup code. Inside: HVAC good for A/C, not Heating. Heat provided an odor in room. Loud, but great if you like white noise. Kitchen great (oven/microwave/coffee +4 K-cups), but GFI outlet dead (adjacent worked). Bathroom: Leaky shower floods floor (use bath mat); hot water lukewarm first (tech fixed after message to host). WiFi hassle: No info on listing, host provided first two passwords failed; third (T-Mobile hotspot) worked but slow. Poor AT&T signal made it vital; initially isolated. No pests. Host responsive, quick fixes. Too much troubleshooting for basics kept the rating from 5 stars.

Place Was Very Nice & Clean , Enjoyed our time there !

We had booked the property in advance for a week and had high expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed that the floor was completely wet. There was even water on the walls. The water on the floor never fully dried during our stay, despite cleaners coming to address it. The apartment apparently had poor ventilation. As a result, one of the guests had to book a new accommodation because the indoor air caused health issues. We had booked the accommodation for three adults. The sofa, where one person was supposed to sleep, was so short that a chair had to be placed at the end to prevent their feet from hanging off. (We are 5’9” tall). I would not stay at this place again. Additionally, there was a strange odor in the property. I mentioned the issue, and the wet floor was addressed, but the problem with the bed being too small was completely ignored. In my opinion, the apartment is not suitable for rental.

The stay was very nice, looks just like the pictures. The shower feels sooo good unfortunately it does get cold after like 10 minutes. They provide a good amount of towels and toilet paper. I had no issues here and if I had any questions they had a line to call and were responsive.
