I usually leave positive reviews and don’t mind typical imperfections, but this stay was different.
This unit was in noticeably poorer condition than the listing photos suggested.
During my stay I saw several maintenance issues, including gapped countertops, damaged walls, and general wear throughout the unit that made it feel less well maintained than expected. The room was missing a kitchen table upon arrival, and the ceiling showed visible signs that appeared to be past water damage.
I reached out to the host to ask whether a compromise of ending the stay early might be possible because of these concerns, but they weren’t willing to offer any flexibility.
On a positive note, the host communicated consistently and politely.
Everyone’s standards are different, but based on my experience I would recommend future guests review recent feedback carefully and make sure the condition of the property aligns with what they’re looking for before booking.

I added this property to my list of favorite places to stay in the Fort Lauderdale/ Miami area. Everything we needed was close by or in walking distance. The place was clean, modern decor, equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own meals, and the staff was nice and helpful. The free parking was also a plus.
