Overall a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Online staff was attentive (not on-site)

Amazing location. Room was spacious. Clean.

Bed was a little uncomfortable.
Some of the blinds needs some looking to.
One of the furniture with draws needs to be looked at (damaged).
Check-in was a bit weird as their online credit card facility didn't accept my credit cards. Staff (online) were helpful and we got a solution even though I was a late check in.

there is an distinct mold smell within the unit
there is an distinct mold smell within the unit. the bathroom door only opens 1/4 the way, the quality of the furniture is cheap, the bathroom tub has chips and stains, the advertised unit isn't what it seems. I was supposed to be there for 4/5 days... I didn't sleep there FOR EVEN ONE DAY because the mold was that bad and the smell was apparent.

The location was great and very convenient, and we appreciated that shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body wash were provided. However, parking was extremely tight — the newly painted spots were so narrow we had to crawl out through the trunk, which was very frustrating. The bathroom door couldn’t open fully and scraped against the tile. We also found a used cigarette by the window and two random black screws on the floor, which was concerning. The dresser felt very unstable, like it could tip if clothes were placed on it. The chair shown at the desk wasn’t there; instead there was an older, lower chair that made working remotely a bit difficult. Overall, the main issues were the parking and a few cleanliness/maintenance oversights.

This is my second time staying here and I would consider it a Hidden Gem! It is super clean, looks just like the pictures, and is half a block from the beach. The host was always responsive in less than 20 mins and even helped with other requests I had like where to find local gyms that offer day passes. The area is great, not only because of the proximity to the beach, but also because there are lots of fun restaurants and bars just a few blocks South. I will be staying here again. Soon I hope!!

Great Airbnb steps away from the beach. They also have a pool if they have a grill that would be perfect.
I am a therapist and my wife is a principal
I am a therapist and my wife is a principal. We are in our early 40’s and keep a clean house, clean children, clean clothes and clean cars. We were looking for a place a few blocks from the beach that was affordable for a few days to escape NY winter. If any of this sounds like you, DON’T STAY HERE. It’s full of black mold, the smell and air are a safety concern which was not taken seriously. There are filthy windows that you can’t even see out of, filthy floors, the furniture was handed down from god knows where and there are people LIVING in the “hotel” sitting around smoking cigarettes all day who told me “we are here until we can figure out our next steps in life”. Essentially, it’s a homeless shelter on air b and b.
